Sigma specializes in offering independent risk management and insurance related services to its clients. We do not sell insurance or financial services products.
Sigma has been offering Risk Management services throughout the world for over 25 years. Our clients consist of local, state and federal governments, including Ports, cities, municipalities, hospitals, and school systems as well as private non-profits, real estate developers, property managers, construction companies, financial institutions, and religious organizations. All of our consultants are either CIC, CRM, ARM, or CPCU certified and continued industry training.

C. Todd Thomas

Mr. Thomas is the Chief Consultant for Sigma Risk Management Consulting. He has worked in the Management Consulting industry for 29 years. Currently, he works with strategic partners to offer the highest quality risk management and disaster recovery consulting services possible. He has worked in a management capacity on high-profile FEMA, insurance and risk management projects since 1996. Additionally, Mr. Thomas regularly serves as an expert witness and Special Master to courts.
Todd’s experience assisting public entities, non-profits and other organizations with disaster recovery includes but is not limited to FEMA obtain and maintain insurance requirements, construction project and project management, risk identification, risk analysis, finance, project management, and enterprise risk management.
He is a Fellow of the Global Academy of Financial Management (GAFM), Member of the Association of Certified Chartered Economists, a Fellow of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RF), and a Fellow of the American Academy of Project Management. Todd is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Chartered Financial Economist (Ch.FE), Certified Risk Analyst (CRA), Fellow of Risk Management (RF), Accredited Financial Analysis (AFA), Accredited Management Accountant (AMA), and Associate in Claims (AIC).
Juan Carlos Trujillo
BSM, MBA, CICNP
Mr. Trujillo is the Senior Consultant for Sigma Risk Management Consulting. He has extensive experience in energy companies and acted as CFO for electric energy generation and distribution companies in Panama and El Salvador, as CFO for an alternate energy project in Guatemala and as controller for an electric energy distribution company in Argentina. Mr. Trujillo held various positions with Entergy Corporation in the early stages of his career. Mr. Trujillo holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Economics from Tulane University and a Master´s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University. He is certified by AIC as inter-american certified accountant (CICNP).
